Pirates to sign more players

Following the shock transfer of Oupa Manyisa to Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza says the club will make one or two new signings before the start of the season.

Speaking during the unveiling of new coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic  on Thursday, Khoza said will get a player or two from Mamelodi Sundowns in what is a swap deal involving club captain Oupa Manyisa.

The club has already made three signings in preparation for next season. The players are goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands, midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni and Nigerian striker Christian Obiozor

“We are hoping to finalize one or two signings before the start of the season in key positions,” said Khoza.

“We will be announcing and finalising player transfers and staff movements soon.”
