Pirates teenager named  in ‘Best Young Talents in the World’ list

Mahlonoko is the second youngster from Pirates to make it on The Guardian’s annual list after Lyle Foster made the cut last year.

The Sebokeng-born player, who was drafted into the club’s first team this season after he make a name for himself playing the reserve league, says he is honoured to be on the list of Next Generation – 60 of the Best Young Talents in the World.

“It is wonderful to be mentioned among some of the best young talents in the world, but this doesn’t mean that the work is done,” Mahlonoko was quoted by IOL .

“This only tells me that I have potential to achieve big things in my footballing career, but I need to put in the hard work because without hard work nothing can be achieved.”
