Al Ahly have confirmed that attacking midfielder Phakamani Mahlambi will not leave the club during the current transfer window.

The former Bidvest Wits star was linked with a loan move to Orlando Pirates, but Al Ahly insists that Mahlambi is staying put at the Cairo-based side.
“Phakamani’s case is totally closed. He will continue with us,” Al Ahly football director Sayed Abdel Hafeez told On Sport TV.
Meanwhile, as reported earlier, Pirates’ search for striker continues after missing out on Jeremy Brockie.
The New Zealander, who was linked with a move to Pirates, joined Mamelodi Sundowns from SuperSport United.
