Orlando Pirates have reached an agreement with Chippa United for defender Gladwin Shitolo to move to Port Elizabeth.
Shitolo is set to spend the rest of the 2018/2019 campaign on loan with the Chilli Boys. The defender lost his place in coach Micho Sredojevic’s line-up after scoring an own goal in a league match.
The 29-year-old agreed terms with Pirates for him to move to United. Shitolo is the second player to move from Pirates to United on loan in the January transfer window after Meshack Maphangule completed his loan move at the beginning of the week.
“Orlando Pirates has agreed terms for Gladwin Shitolo’s loan move to Chippa United FC. The 29-year-old defender joins the Chilli Boys for the remainder of [the] 2018/19 season,” read a tweet from Pirates.
