Pirates players are lazy – Jerry Sikhosana

Former Orlando Pirates striker Jerry Sikhosana is not happy with the way his former club is playing this season.

Pirates are in second place on the log table, having collected 18 points in 12 matches, however, Sikhosana says they are there by luck.

“They are second through luck, not hard work. After training sessions all the players want to go home. We used to stay behind and put in the work after hours,” Sikhosana told the Daily Sun.

“The running part of it makes sick. There is a lot of laziness from the players. The players only want to run when the ball is played to them.

“It’s not about going into the transfer market, it’s about getting inside the players’ heads. Let them know they need to do. Supporters are not happy,” added Sikhosana.
