Orlando Pirates talisman Luvuyo Memela says he is happy to be back on the field after spending most of the season nursing an injury.

Memela scored in his second game back in action for the Soweto Giants when they thrashed AmaZulu 4-1 at the weekend.
The 31-year-old says it was difficult for him to train on his own while working towards his fitness.
“It’s not only the physical demand of rehabilitation that gets to you but also the mental part. You train alone while your teammates train on the field and secondly, because we are not robots, the rehabilitation process isn’t straightforward – you sometimes suffer setbacks which delay your return. All this puts a lot of pressure on a player,” Memela told the club’s official website.
Pirates’ technical team will be happy to have Memela available for selection as they push for the Absa Premiership title.
