Pirates legend to headline comedy show

The event is scheduled for May 25 where the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations winner will be doing his maiden standup comedy gig in Glen Marais, Kempton Park.

“It is a clean comedy show, no explicit language or stuff like that,” founder of Kick Of Comedy Nkosinathi Mazibuko told Phakaaathi.

“It will be about his experiences in football and making jokes about fans and former teams, the owners of club like Jomo Sono and Irvin Khoza. He is willing to bite the bullet but not in a disrespectful manner,” Mazibuko added.

He continued: “Magents is a natural in this, as he used to do it on the field of play, making fun of his opponents and now he is making fun of his opponents off the field, in a stand-up comedy, in a clean and fun way.”
