Pirates legend asks Foster to stay grounded

Orlando Pirates legend Lucky Lekgwathi says rising star Lyle Foster should stay focused and not get big-headed.

“I am happy for him and all I wish is for him to listen. I want him to listen to the senior players and take all the advice he gets from them. I wish he just stays focused and listens to everyone around him so that he could reach the top, he has been doing well,” said Lekgwathi.

Lekgwathi has called on senior players at the club to guide the young players like Foster that were promoted to the first team.

“The senior players that have been at Pirates for a while like Thabo (Rakhale) need to play the role we played when Jali came into the team as a youngster. We helped  him get used to playing for Pirates. They need guidance and that is the role of a senior players. We helped Jali and the others to understand what it means to play for Pirates, so the new players in the team need that as well.”
