Pirates finishing coach explains his role
Stephane Adam says strikers need to be obsessed with scoring goals.

Adam, who joined Orlando Pirates as their finishing coach before the start of the 2018/2019 season, has come under fire in recent weeks with many claiming that his arrival at the Buccaneers did not solve the club’s goalscoring problem.
“Finishing is the ability to make the right decisions at the right time to finish the move and get a goal,” Adam told PiratesTV.
“It is also a mental problem, striker needs to have an obsessed with goals. It is important to get yourself in positions and situations where you can score goals, and focus on the next one if you miss and action, you have to forget about it, so it is a mental problem.
“The more they score, the better will be, but it is a long term process but I am sure there will be improvements.”
