Alfred Ndengane has described his debut for Orlando Pirates as special, after turning out for the Buccaneers in their 4-2 victory over Chippa United at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.
Ndengane signed joined the Soweto giants last year from Bloemfontein Celtic but had to wait for some time before donning the Bucs jersey.

“My debut was special for many reasons. For starters, it was at Orlando Stadium – the home of South African football and it was also a game where we collected three points,” the defender was quoted as saying by the Bucs website.
Pirates are now on 31 points in the league table after 17 games, two points behind log leaders Bidvest Wits who lost 2-0 to Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.
They will now shift their focus to the Caf Champions League, where they face FC Platinum in their first group stage game in Bulawayo on Saturday.
