With much possession and dominating most part of the match, Orlando Pirates found it very hard to unlock a solid Bloemfontein Celtic which led to the sides playing to a 1-1 draw at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night.
It took Pirates the later stages of the game to finally get a very important equaliser to walk away with a point on the day after Celtic had scored earlier on in the game.

Buccaneers coach Micho Sredojevic said they knew what to expect from the game, but Celtic’s well organised defending made it tough for his charges.
“We had the game the way we expected, we have seen a few days back and we have seen throughout the season. Credit to Bloemfontein Celtic, they are a very organised team with reinforced defence with the block of nine people behind the ball always in front of Patrick Tignyemb,” Sredojevic told SuperSport TV after the game.
“It is not easy to penetrate that because they are working for each other. From the start, we wanted to tire them and let that be our way of defending. But they limited the space, providing numbers in defence.”
