Sredojevic has proven he is not a sore loser when he praised the Sundowns family for winning the league title with one game left to play.
Pirates are in second place, and were in contention for the league title.
Sredojevic took over Pirates at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season.
“Dear sports opponent and gentleman coach Pitso Mosimane to you personally, family at home, whole technical team, club president and management around, great players all season consistently performing &supporters sincere CONGRATULATIONS upon deservedly winning ABSA Premier league 2017/18,” Sredojevic wrote on Twitter.
