The Swedish coach is positive that he will get the team back to winning ways after playing to a third successive draw against SuperSport United at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.
The 1-1 draw against Matsatsantsa saw Pirates slip to 11 games without a victory in the league and a 12th in all competitions, having last won a match in November, when they beat Chippa United 1-0.
“We are doing better and we know a win is coming,” said the Pirates coach.
“If we continue like this we are going to win games. We just have to work hard, create more chances, only then we will do it during a match.”
“I’m happy that with these draws, it shows we are on par with top sides like Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport. We are confident for the future because we are showing the right steps.”
Jonevret is looking at registering his first win at the club this weekend when they face ABC Motsepe league side EC Bees FC in the last-32 round of the Nedbank Cup at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium.
