Pirates to buy Wome after Nedbank Cup final
Orlando Pirates are set to sign Dove Wome from SuperSport United after the clubs play in the Nedbank Cup final.

Wome has been at Pirates since January after Matsatsantsa agreed to a loan deal with the Buccaneers. The Togo international has earned a place in the starting lineup at Pirates since joining, scoring two goals along the way, adding to the Soweto Giants’ front line.

The 26-year-old is said to be settling in well at Pirates, and is happy to stay with the team, should SuperSport United agree to the deal.
“The numbers speak for themselves, he [Wome] has done well since joining Pirates, and would like to stay with them,” a source told Isolezwe.
Pirates are hoping to have Wome on the bench when they come up against Matsatsantsa in the Nedbank Cup final on June 24 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. United are expected to make a decision on that soon.
“The only thing that the two clubs still need to discuss is the money that Pirates has to pay SuperSport to have Dove Wome permanently,” said the source.
