Oupa Manyisa’s advice to young footballers
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa has advised youngsters participating in the VW Junior Masters tournament to follow their dreams and never let anyone tell them otherwise.

The Downs midfielder was speaking at the draw and launch of the tournament at the Wits University on Thursday, where former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Andre Arendse and SuperSport United captain Dean Furman were also in attendance.

“I was once a youngster like you guys and I followed my dream of playing soccer. You guys should also follow your dreams, but you should always remember that school is very important,” said the former Orlando Pirates skipper.
The VW Junior Masters gives an opportunity for Under-12 teams from all the nine provinces in the country to compete for a grand prize of representing South Africa at the global VW Junior Masters tournament in Germany next year in June.
