Orlando Pirates sign Zambian forward
A day after announcing the signing of Xola Mlambi from Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates have now added reigning Zambian Footballer of the Year Augustine Mulenga from Zanaco FC on a three-year deal.

Mulenga, who is expected to land in the country next week was announced on Tuesday morning, with Bucs administrative officer Floyd Mbele thanking the Zanaco management for the deal.

“We are delighted to have finally secured the services of Augustine. He is an accomplished player who has all the qualities to make an immediate impact at the club,” Mbele was quoted on the club’s website.

“I would like to thank Zanaco management for their professionalism during negotiations.”
The forward participated in the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco where he was Zambia’s top goal scorer, but Chipolopolo were knocked out of the competition by Sudan in the quarterfinals this past weekend.
