Baroka FC midfielder Mxolisi Kunene walked away with the Goal of the Month award for his brilliant goal against Kaizer Chiefs.
“It has always been a team effort, I could not have done it on my own,” said Davids at the PSL offices on Monday.
Asked whether he would like to take over the Maritzburg coaching post on permanent basis, Davids said: “I want my team to focus on the last two matches. That is why I prefer not to talk about the head coach, interim issue.”
On winning his award, Onyango said: “I am happy to win this award. It is a recognition for the hard work I have put in.”
Kunene thanked the fans for helping him win the award.
“I would like to thank all the fans who voted for me and the goal I scored.”
