On-loan Pirates striker tells footballers to count blessings
TS Galaxy striker Zakhele Lepasa says football stars are lucky to earn hundreds of thousands of rands from playing the game they love and they should be grateful.

Lepasa is on loan at the National First Division side from Orlando Pirates for a season.
In a Facebook post, the young striker labelled football players who do not take their careers seriously as “stupid” for not realising how lucky they are to have a career in playing football.
“Like in football, all you have to do is run after a round object and put up a show for 90 min or so, entertain people, show up for an hour or two of practice 2-4 times a week, while having fun, make a lot of money and live your best life. How stupid can one be not to appreciate that?
“I mean there’s people (like our parents) who have to wake up at 3 or 4am every day, and have to go to a long ass queue, just to take a taxi or a bus or a train for that matter to try and get to work. Even on very cold winter mornings. And they still earn peanuts (sic),” read Lepasa’s post.
