Masuluke’s bicycle goal against Orlando Pirates was nominated for the award and the two legends want the Baroka goalkeeper to win it.
“My vote goes to the goalkeeper, because it’s so rare to see something like that. Goals by goalkeepers are already very unusual, and last-minute bicycle kicks are too. I think it really was something very special,” Okocha told the Fifa website.

Former Italy midfielder Mateo agrees with Okocha and he seems to admire Masuluke’s dance move as well.
“I really liked the strike by the goalkeeper and the celebrations afterwards were pretty unique too!”
