Nyathi previously worked at the Urban Warriors as a youth coach before.
“I am happy to be here, it has been quite a while,” Nyathi told the Ajax website.

The former Bafana Bafana defender will once again work in the youth structures at Ikamva alongside head coach Duncan Crowie in both the ABC Motsepe League, MultiChoice Diski Challenge and other alternative tournaments.
“We have to balance that kind of achievement. Winning trophies is good, but developing real quality players that will overcome and combat all the stages of a professional football is very key,” he added.
“I want players that will play in the PSL team, players that will play for the National Team and attract international interest. We look at that and also winning trophies obviously instils the confidence and belief that you will succeed and once you win you don’t want to stop,” concluded Nyathi.
