Ntshangase looking forward to Baroka reunion

Kaizer Chiefs’ new sensational midfielder, Siphelele 'Stash' Ntshangase has revealed his hunger to play against his old side, Baroka FC when the two teams meet in an Absa Premiership clash at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

“The preparations are going well,” said Ntshangase this week. “It is a good feeling to be in the midst of these great players. If given an opportunity to play on Sunday, I plan to seize the moment and write my own script in the history of this glamorous club.”

Ntshangase said Baroka should be respected, but insisted they would need a win to keep their title ambitions alive.

“They will want to perform against us. It is common knowledge that – as is the case with most teams – they will want to prove a point and cause and upset. Credit to them, they have done really well this season.

“Just one point separates us from them on the log, and if we want to remain in contention for the league championship we will need to go into this match with a determination to bring home three points,” added the 24-year-old.
