Ntouba returns to Zim after failed SuperSport move

Cameroonian striker Christian Epoupa Ntouba is back in Zimbabwe with Dynamos after his planned move to SuperSport United failed to materialise.

Ntouba was set to sign for Matsatsantsa after he was invited for trials last week. However, SuperSport changed their minds and opted to sign Maritzburg United striker Evans Rusike instead.

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa confirmed to NewsDay that Ntouba was returning to the club, where he still has a year left on his contract.

“I don’t have the full details, but I have been told that he is coming back because their [SuperSport’s] slots are full after signing Evans Rusike,” Mutasa said.

Epoupa’s first attempt to switch to Absa Premiership failed after he sustained an ankle injury during trials with Bidvest Wits at the start of last month.
