The goal fest was started by captain Mothobi Mvala and Peter Shalulile, Sphiwe Mahlangu and Sabelo Nyembe followed suit with a goal each. The score could have been bigger had it not for Ezenkosi keeper who made some good saves.

Heutchou Gerome saved Ubuntu blushes as he equalised to ensure they save at least a point against promotion chasers. Iqraam Rayners scored for Stellies. “We probably could have won this one but we will take a point against a side knocking on the door for promotion,” wrote Ubuntu on Twitter after the match.

Mwabinga Uhuru’s goal was enough to earn Amathol’amnyama a point against one of the division’s top sides this season but Duncan Lechesa’s team could have collected all three points in this one. Zithulele Mhlontlo scored for the visitors.

Ntsako Makhubela was the hero for the Magic Boys as his goal was enough to seal the deal and send his team to second spot. Simo Dladla’s team are now nine points behind leaders Highlands Park.
Royal Eagles 1 (Dillan Solomons) Uthongathi FC 1 (D. Sibisi)
Both could have secured the three points which they desperately need but it was not to be and the spoils were shared. Dillan Solomons scored for Eagles while former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Diyo Sibisi did the same for the Cane Cutters.
CT All Stars 3 (Shaq Abrahams x2; Mickayle Jackson ) Tshakhuma 1 (D. Mathebula)
Igugu leKapa were just too good and put brakes on Tshakhuma’s rise, beating them 3-1. Tshakhuma are now third following the defeat. The win has sent All Stars into contention for a promotion place finish.
