According to sources close to Spurs, club owner Themba Mafu is expected to be in charge of the side for the last five games.
The sources claim that the management did not feel that Mashaba made a difference at the club, since taking over because the club remains at the bottom of the NFD standings.
“When Shakes came we had 16 games to play and were No. 16. Today we have five games left and we are still No. 16, which means there is nothing he has done for us. The directors have then decided that it is time to let him go. We are hoping Mafu will be able to save us,” a source told Phakaaathi.
