NFD players in hot water after fighting

Two players from Uthongathi FC and Richards Bay FC respectively have been charged by the PSL Disciplinary Committee.


The two players Philani Gumede from Uthongathi allegedly assaulted Menzi Hlope from Richards Bay FC.

Both players were charged with bringing the PSL into disrepute for the fight that broke out on January 6, 2018, at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

UTHONGATHI FC and PHILANI GUMEDE

The club and club player, Mr Philani Gumede have been charged with misconduct and bringing the PSL into disrepute after Mr Gumede allegedly assaulted a player from Richards Bay during their National First Division fixture on 06 January 2018 at Princess Magogo Stadium.

RICHARDS BAY and MENZI HLOPE:

The club and the player, Mr Hlope have been charged with misconduct and bringing the PSL into disrepute after Mr Hlope was involved in a fight with a player from Uthongathi FC during the NFD fixture between Richards Bay and Uthongathi on 06 January 2018.
