Cape Town City new signing Travis Graham says he will use every opportunity to get game time after featuring for the reserve team in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge tie against Polokwane City which they played to a 2-2 draw at the Makhulong Stadium last Saturday.
The former Ajax Cape Town midfielder last played competitive football in the 2016/17 season before he was frozen out at Ajax. And he is now racing against time to get match fitness to fill the void left Roland Putche and Thabo Nodada due to injuries.
“You must understand that I have not been playing competitively in a while. Anyway,, slowly but surely I will get there and it is important that I take every opportunity of getting game time. I got 60 minutes today (Saturday) and I will take it from here,” said Graham.
“What I can tell you is that I have been training hard by myself with a fitness trainer just to make sure fat I don’t lose too much muscle and fitness wise. But it’s completely different from training with a team.”
