Amakhosi unveiled the replica of a jersey that was leaked on social media over a month ago when America Hip Hop DJ and radio presenter Sway visited the Kaizer Chiefs village.
Chiefs fans didn’t approve of the jersey’s design and hoped the Naturena Camp would launch a different jersey when the season started.
Amakhosi are celebrating their 50th anniversary this season with a classic strip that looks identical to one that they played in under coach Stuart Baxter.
Chiefs’ home kit boasts the traditional black and gold colours of Amakhosi with a 3D stripe pattern, while the away kit is white with a touch of black and gold on the sleeves.
