Maritzburg United’s sensational midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu says he was not even aware that Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter was announcing his squad on Tuesday when he called up for the four-team tournament set for Zambia later in March.

Ndlovu said he had gone to training like on any day but was surprised when he was called and told to report to the office after training.
“It’s every player’s dream to play for the national team and just thinking about it is surreal,” Ndlovu was quoted as saying by The Witness on Wednesday morning.
“I’m chuffed to bits and I am struggling to find the right words to express how I feel but to be honest, I wasn’t even thinking about it yet.
“I didn’t even know they were announcing the team. I got a call from the club’s offices to say I should come by the office after training and that’s how I found out,” he added.
