At the age of 32-years old, the former Bloemfontein Celtic defender has never played for the senior national team since his professional career began at Ubuntu Cape Town in 2012.
“For me, it’s just hard work, first of all I want to work for my team and make sure that I do well working for the coaches and making sure that every time I get a chance to play I do well. Anything that comes after that it is not in my powers,” said Ndengane.
Ndengane was impressive in Bucs’ 3-3 draw against Cape Town City, with the defender scoring one of the three goals for the Buccaneers and scooping the Man-of-the-Match accolade at the end of the game.
