Ncobo took to twitter to ask for South Africans to pray for him and his family.
The former referee has been calling for the resignation of Safa president Danny Jordaan.
Ncobo has received support from the public for opposing Jordaan, however, his security advisers have asked that he stops making public comments about Safa.
“I’m sorry but I’ve been advised that due security risk I should refrain from talking about these matters until further notice. Will be back,” read the tweet from Ncobo.

Calling on all friends and the entire football people. Please pray for Ace Ncobo and his family. It’s getting nasty. But God is with us.
