The Soweto giants travel to Gqeberha for a meeting with the Chilli Boys, who are trying to claw their way up on the DStv Premiership table with the side on 14th spot on the log with 26 points, while the Buccaneers are trying to secure second.
Pirates have won their last three league fixtures going into this game, and every point earned will be valuable for the Buccaneers in trying to reach their objective.
Currently, Pirates are in third spot on the league standings after SuperSport United beat TS Galaxy 2-0 on Good Friday to go to position two with 43 points.
Bucs and Matsatsantsa are fighting for the runners-up spot, as well as Kaizer Chiefs, who are in fourth place on the log but they are level with their Soweto neighbours on 40 points after 24 games.
Knowing how important getting a win against Chippa is, Ncikazi says their preparations this week were based on making sure of that.
“We are at that stage of the season where points are vital for every team. We know our objectives and the preparations for us were mainly based on getting three points against Chippa. We know the importance of these points and I know that the opponents also have their objectives based on their log position,” said Ncikazi.
“But for us we are just preparing to get three points away from home.”

Ncikazi emphasised there is a lot to play for every team at this moment in the league.
“There is no form, there is no history currently. There is no home or away, you can see what happens with all the teams, that is out of the window. It is just about getting the points and trying to fulfil the objectives that you have set for your team at the beginning of the season.”
