According to the Sunday World, Chiefs lost interest in Musonda because of Leopards’ asking price.
“Yes, Chiefs were in the race but now it seems like they have lost interest in Musonda. The player also interest in Musonda. The player also wanted to go there but now the deal is off,” a source told SundayWorld.
Leopards boss, however, David Thidiela has dismissed reports that he spoke to Chiefs about the striker’s services.
Musonda finished as the Absa Premiership top goalscorer with 16 goals in the 2018/19 season.
