Motale wants a stable back four at Pirates

Orlando Pirates legend Edward Motale is concerned by the inconsistency in the Bucs backline.

Motale believes the Buccaneers have improved since Swedish mentor Kjell Jonevret took over the coaching reigns at the Buccaneers, however, he would like them to have a more solid back four.

“The rotation has cost them a lot (this season),” Motale observed.

“I can’t blame Kjell for changing the defence sometimes, because he’s only been here for a couple of months and he’s trying to get his combinations right. It’s vital that he gets that right soon. You saw what happened earlier in the season.”

Pirates’ next assignment is against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Orlando Stadium in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.
