Mosimane stressing over new players’ fitness ahead of Chiefs game

Pitso Mosimane has shown concern over the match fitness of his newly recruited players ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns visit to the FNB Stadium.

The Brazilians will go up against Kaizer Chiefs this Saturday night as Steve Komphela’s side will look to complete a league double over the Absa Premiership leaders for the first time since the 2011/12 season.

Khama Billiat made his first appearance at the back of seven-game absence, marking his return with two sublime freekicks last weekend. The Zimbabwean did not finish the game, Mosimane explains why: “We have to manage his condition,” he said.

“We have a lot of half players. Khama is half, Aubrey Ngoma is half, Leonardo Sirino is a little bit less than half. The only person you can see is sharp is Jeremy Brockie because he has been playing. They will improve, the quality is good,” added Mosimane.
