Mosimane to rotate squad for Caf clash

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says it is important to rest some of his regular players if the Brazilians want to win the league and compete in the Caf Champions league.

Sundowns will face Saint George from Ethiopia on Saturday evening at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Pitso Mosimane’s men are the only South African side in Caf Champions League after they qualified for the group stages of the continental competition.

The next two fixtures will be important for Sundowns, as they will look to get a favourable result in their Caf Champions’ League group stage match before winning their midweek league game against Chippa United to maintain the pressure on log leader Bidvest Wits.

“To bring others with fresh legs and see how it goes, we will do what we have to do. We are in that position of being the super champs of Africa, super champs of Africa to complain and cry they go up to the end and see what they can get,” said Mosimane.
