Mosimane likens Tau to Messi and Ronaldo
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says Percy Tau is important to Masandawana much like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.

Tau has been Sundowns’ hero more often than not this season as he once again salvaged a 1-1 draw in the Tshwane derby against Matsatsantsa this past weekend, scoring his ninth league goal in the process.

Mosimane has tipped the 23-year-old Tau to walk away with the PSL Footballer-of-the-Year award, as well as the Players’ Player gong at the end of the season.
“For me Percy is like Real Madrid relying on Cristiano Ronaldo, it is Barcelona over relying on Messi and Tottenham hotspur relying on Harry Kane. He is what we have and this boy is scoring goals,” said the former Bafana Bafana mentor.

“It is unbelievable. He forces his way in and taking it on his shoulders, he is a leader. A performance like this week-in week-out is impressive. It says to me maybe the boy is a future captain of Sundowns,” Mosimane added.
Tau has scored nine league goals this season and made eight assists.
