Micho will face Mosimane at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday night for the first time since returning to South Africa.
“We are playing a team that has proven itself, still African champions at present. They have a very good group of individuals that play top class football as a team. They have a very good friend of mine for the last 15 years Pitso Mosimane for me the Sir Alex Ferguson of South African football as a coach,” said the Bucs coach.
Few weeks ago, Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe told the media that he wants Mosimane to be the Ferguson of Sundowns.
“I would like Pitso to be… I don’t want to say Arsene Wenger because Arsene Wenger has challenges.
“I would like him to be the Alex Ferguson of Mamelodi Sundowns. … in South Africa, I’d like him to be the Alex Ferguson of South African football,” said Motsepe.
