Mosimane comments on Silva’s Sundowns exit
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says the reason why Toni Silva left the club was because he felt that he was too big to play in the Absa Premiership.

This comes after the former Liverpool and Chelsea player left Sundowns to join Egyptian side Al-littihad during the current transfer period.
The Guinea-Bissau international only spent six months with the Pretoria club and failed to break into Mosimane’s starting line-up.
“Toni Silva did not work out. He did not want to stay. Every time he wanted to go,” Mosimane told reporters.
“There’s Themba Zwane, who has never played for Chelsea and Liverpool, and he gives you more. There’s Sirino, there’s Maboe. You know it’s very difficult when you come from Europe to here. It’s a different game, high impact. PSL is too fast.”
Silva made 11 appearances and scored twice during his short stint with Sundowns.
