Moloi slams media for ‘over-hyping’ Pirates players
Orlando Pirates legend Teboho Moloi says the media is quick to celebrate the Buccaneers players for playing well even though the team has not achieved anything.

The former Pirates assistant coach says the players need to win trophies before they are given the praise.
“I partly blame the media for over-hyping this Pirates team. I’m a Buccaneer for life, but the current Pirates team are being glorified for doing nothing,” Moloi was quoted as saying by the Sunday Sun.
“They’re praised and given glory while they’re under-achieving. If they are a good team, they have to win trophies. We have to stop praising them, and push them to win trophies.”
Moloi, however, is happy with the style of play that Pirates are using under Micho Sredojevic.
