Molangoane extends Kaizer Chiefs stay

Kaizer Chiefs have ended speculation on Joseph Molangoane’s future with the club by announcing that they have extended the midfielder’s contract.

With his previous contract ending in June, there was speculation that Molangoane could be on his way out of Amakhosi.

But Chiefs have now announced that Molangoane has agreed to a one year contract with the option to extend for an additional year.

“Breaking News! Joseph Molangoane has extended his stay at Kaizer Chiefs by signing a 1 year contract extension with a 1 year option,” read a tweet from Chiefs.

Molangoane joined Chiefs from Chippa United in December 2016, but the 31-year-old’s career at Amakhosi has been hampered by injuries.

He has just recovered from a career-ending injury he suffered in the first half on the 2018/19 season, but Chiefs have shown faith in him by extending his stay in Naturena.
