Pirates haven’t enjoyed the best of starts this season, with the club having already missed out on the Caf Champions League and the MTN8.

The Bucs coach is undoubtedly under pressure to deliver, but says he is ready to do everything in his power to get the team back to its best and serve the club like his grandfather and uncle did back in the days.

“I’m here to serve, my grandfather died for this club, my uncle Jomo Sono left his wedding for this club and who am I to complain when I have to spend sleepless nights? That’s all they ask of me, to spend sleepless nights and make sure the club gets back to winnings ways, that’s it,” said Mokwena.

“If it comes with pressure, so be it. If it means I get cut, so be it. At the end of the day if it results into Orlando Pirates reclaiming it’s glory I’m prepared to even die for it.”

Pirates host Stellies at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
