Mokwena praise may be hint he wants Hlatshwayo at Pirates
Hlatshwayo has since signed a new contract at Wits, but it could be that Pirates will look to go back into the market for the Bafana captain in January.

Rulani Mokwena singled out central defender Thulani Hlatshwayo for praise on Saturday as he discussed Orlando Pirates’ away day at Bidvest Wits at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on September 21.

“Wits is another difficult one‚” Mokwena told reporters.
“They are very difficult and a well-coached team‚ with a very experience team that knows how to win.
“With a very strong defence‚ you’re forced to work very hard to be able to get through the Wits defence. Tyson (Thulani Hlatshwayo) is strong‚ he’s a Bafana international.”
This is interesting in the sense that Pirates actively pursued Hlatshwayo’s signature during the transfer window, and Hlatshwayo himself was reported as saying he was looking for a new challenge.
