Middendorp slams Chiefs players after Baroka loss
Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp says his players lack hunger and commitment during their loss to Baroka FC.

This comes after Chiefs, who beat Cape Town City 2-0 in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals last weekend, suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Bakgaga at home at FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
“We saw two totally different games from the same players,” Middendorp told SuperSport TV after the game.
“We had nearly the same starting XI from last week, where we saw a fantastic performance. We had the attitude and hunger and we spoke about it the whole week that we can’t let our guard down this week.
“When you are playing teams that are fighting for survival, you can’t be half-hearted and that’s what we were. We didn’t have the right attitude and didn’t play the soccer game we are capable of playing.
“We need to take the right lesson from this defeat. Just because we had a fantastic game last weekend, doesn’t mean everything is in place.”
Chiefs will next play Black Leopards away in Thohoyandou next Saturday.
