Why Sundowns could be forced to sell Billiat

Phakaaathi has learnt that Billiat’s representatives have accused the club of dirty tricks after media reports emerged suggesting the 26-year-old had attended one of the training sessions while under the influence of alcohol.
“There is no truth in that story. Why are these things coming out now that there are contract renewal negotiations? He has been a star player and has never had issues until now. We know there is an offer from Saudi Arabia and somehow expected this after what happened with Keagan Dolly,” said a source close to the player.
Saudi club Al Nasr are said to have tabled a good offer but Sundowns are hesitant at accepting it as Billiat is still a big feature in coach Pitso Mosimane’s plans.
