Sundowns to give former Bafana striker a lifeline?

Rantie is believed to be training with the Brazilians and is said to have impressed Pitso Mosimane and his technical team.

Ex-Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City striker Tokelo Rantie could be given a lifeline by Mamelodi Sundowns following his departure from Cape Town City in December where he did not even make one appearance for the team.

Rantie is believed to be training with the Brazilians and is said to have impressed Pitso Mosimane and his technical team.

“The player was allowed to train with the club because he wanted to keep fit just in case anyone came knocking on his door for his services. But Pitso looks impressed and rumours that he might hand him a contract have been circulating,” said a source close to Masandawana.
