Sundowns star’s career in the balance
A source close to Oupa Manyisa has revealed that the midfielder fears his career might be over following an injury he sustained during their 4-2 loss in the Shell Helix Cup to Kaizer Chiefs last Saturday.

The source revealed that Manyisa is set to be on the sidelines for many months, something which was echoed by Downs head coach Pitso Mosimane during the post-match interview.

He said he thinks Manyisa’s Achilles is gone and his season is over.
“It’s not looking good for him, it seems like he is going to be out for a very long time. Just when things were starting to look promising for him he gets injured. He is really scared that he might not be the same player he is now when he comes back from this injury and his career might be gone. He is now 31 years old and by the time he makes his return he will be 32, he is really worried,” said the source.
