Sundowns set to release out-of-favour goalkeeper
Thela Ngobeni is set to be released by Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season after the club have supposedly reached an agreement to set the 30-year-old shot-stopper free.

Ngobeni only made one appearance on the bench this season as he has been reduced to a spectator while goalkeepers Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene and Riyaad Pieterse are given a run out by coach Pitso Mosimane.
The reason why Ngobeni was not released by the club was because third choice goalkeeper Pieterse could not be registered for the Caf Champions League as he was cup tied. Now with the former Kaizer Chiefs goalie eligible to play, Ngobeni is free to go.
