Phakaaathi understands that Masandawana are monitoring the 26-year-old as he recently recovered from a lengthy injury and has made a couple of appearances off the bench.
Downs could line-up an offer for Mnyamane at the end of the season.
“Sundowns are interested in the player because he is a natural left-winger and Pitso Mosimane has been struggling to find the right replacement for Keagan Dolly as the likes of George Lebese have failed to perform in the way that Mosimane wants them to,” said a source close to Sundowns.
