Phakaaathi has learnt that George Lebese, who is on his way to Mamelodi Sundowns, is training with the Kaizer Chiefs reserves.

Chiefs confirmed earlier this week that they were in talks with Sundowns regarding Lebese’s transfer from Naturena to Chloorkop.

The midfielder trained with the first team on Tuesday, but has now been sent to train with the Under-19 side.
“He didn’t train with the senior team on Wednesday. I guess the writing is now on the wall that he is headed for Sundowns,” a source told Phakaaathi.
This is not the first time Chiefs have sent an exit-bound star player to train with the reserves.
Back in 2014, Lehlohonolo Majoro was made to train with the reserves after failing to secure a move to Orlando Pirates during the January transfer period.
