Royal AM players have more reasons to make sure they win every game they play, after club boss Shauwn Mkhize promised them huge bonuses for every victory, according to a source at the club.

Royal AM played their first game in the DStv Premiership last weekend, with the side losing 1-0 to Swallows FC.
Mkhize, who was present at the match, is said to have had a meeting with the squad after the game, and wasn’t really angry about the loss, but rather motivated the players to work extra hard in their up-coming fixtures.
It is also said that despite the sudden sale of Bloemfontein Celtic, which saw players at Phunya Sele Sele having to re-locate to KwaZulu-Natal, the boss lady has assured everyone at the club will be taken good care of.
“Everyone wasn’t sure how things are going to be in KZN, but so far everything seems to be good. The guys have settled very well and they are happy with the treatment they are getting. But, one thing for sure is that there is disappointment with what happened to Celtic.
“The first game wasn’t that bad, even though it was a loss. After the game the boss promised the players bonuses for every game they win. She also thanked the guys for showing commitment and giving their all in the first match,” said the source.
Royal AM will next face Cape Town City at home at the Chatsworth Stadium on Wednesday. It remains to be seen if the players will up their game in order to receive the said bonuses.
Meanwhile, as previously reported, Pirates are said to have been swamped with CVs from various coaches after the resignation of former coach, Josef Zinnbauer. And among those CVs is that of former coach, Ruud Krol.
Krol had a successful stint with Pirates between 2009 and 2011 and it ended with him guiding the side to their first treble. But he was released under a cloud with management claiming at the time that it was not his efforts alone that brought the success.
They were somehow vindicated the following season when the team won the treble again. A source has claimed that Krol has always felt he has unfinished business at Pirates.
“This may be why he was not keen when a number of clubs wanted him to come back here. Even now with Royal AM, he didn’t show much interest but when he was told the Pirates job was vacant, he seemed to be interested.
“He then gave his local agent the green light to send in his CV. The agent was due to meet with Khoza on Wednesday but I don’t know if the meeting happened or not.
